Mowing

We have the mowing option to either side through the covercrop undervine as a mulch or slash and leave the covercrop in the midrow. Slashing the covercrop puts important organic matter back into the vineyard, further improving soil structure. Having the midrow slashed down prior to budburst is vital to reduce the risk of frost.
